Free Allesverloren shuttle service at the Riebeek Valley Olive Festival, 30 April – 2 May
Allesverloren Estate – the oldest wine estate in the Swartland - is offering festivalgoers a free shuttle service during the Riebeek-Valley Olive Festival that will transport visitors between Riebeek-Kasteel and Allesverloren from Friday, 30 April to Sunday, 2 May.
Festivalgoers have the option of either parking their vehicles on the estate where provision has been made for ample, safe parking or locating a parking area in Riebeek-Kasteel and catching the free shuttle to the historic wine farm. The shuttles can be identified by the Allesverloren branding.
Expect barrels of fun at Allesverloren with remarkable wines, mouthwatering foods, diverse country stalls and live music galore. Musicians Waldo Lotz, Hugo Nieuwoudt, Viljoen Retief, Desmond Wells, Marelize Zeeman and Nadia Louw will have the crowd on their feet in the Klipdrift tent while La Masseria will serve up delicious Italian country food and teach food lovers how to make their own cheese, pasta and bread.
Wine lovers are also in for a treat with wine tastings presented by the winemakers of Allesverloren, Tukulu, Theuniskraal, Le Bonheur and Org de Rac on Friday and Saturday, while festival goers roam through stalls with irresistable delicacies ranging from olives, fresh vegetables, home-made bread, jams and biltong.
Festivalgoers can visit the farm on Friday and Saturday between 09:00 – 19:00, and on Sunday between 09:00 – 16:00. Entrance is free of charge.
